And in the 57th Chapter, on Christmas, where Misaki tells Takumi that she likes him properly for the first time, and they start dating.

As usual, Misaki and Takumi resume their usual back and forth throughout the series, but a couple of moments stand out. Although this is the end of the anime, the manga keeps on going till chapter 87. Afterwards Misaki And Takumi both go to watch the fireworks, wearing Romeo and Juliet costumes, and admit their feelings for eachother, and kiss for the first time.

One Piece sells 2 million copies per volume now while naruto only sells 800,00 copies per volume. While international popularity is good, its the japanese popularity which matters the most. Second seasons are considered only if it has 6000 copies or more. That is a MAJOR LOSS.įor an anime to at least not be a loss, it MUST sell 2500-3000 copies.
Maid-sama averaged 800 copies per volume. It could be popular in the US, Canada, Spain, Philippines, you name it! BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS, if it sells like crap in Japan, like Maid-sama did, there will be NO second season. For a japanese anime, it doesn't matter how popular it is outside japan.
Why? Because it did not sell well in Japan. Kaichou wa maid-sama will not have a second season.
